AAC ID Solutions supports FSG Australia’s Gold Coast based ‘Enrich Program’

AAC ID Solutions, Australia’s market leader for wristbands, lanyards, accessories and promotional products have been actively involved in supporting the Gold Coast based FSG Australia’s ‘Enrich Program’ since 2006.

The ‘Enrich Program’ is designed to assist adults with disabilities by using the workplace environment as a venue to enhance an individual’s talent and develop skills relating to their goals for the future.

The AAC ID Solutions ‘Enrich’ participant, Gareth Richardson has gained many benefits over the past few years from being involved in the workplace. Gareth’s family and Enrich staff believe these have included a raised awareness and development of social skills, increased confidence in own abilities, acceptance and inclusion as a valued team member, improved focus and concentration on tasks and increase in self esteem.

Not only has Gareth benefited, the staff at AAC ID Solutions have gained as well. AAC ID Solutions Director Kym Borg believes “being involved in the Enrich Program gives our staff an opportunity to work alongside someone they may not have had the opportunity to meet. Through our partnership with Enrich, Gareth has brought much delight and laughter to our workplace over the years and we have gained satisfaction in witnessing his personal growth”.

Gareth’s tasks vary from time to time but generally involve putting the wristbands into packs ready to be shipped to clients, helping to put together sample packs with wristbands, lanyards, tickets and ID cards to send to clients as well as general cleaning and maintenance around the office.
